dc.description.abstract | Robot controlling through Website is an interesting tool to perform laboratory experi- ments within Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. For making aware of the new environment one should go there and analyze what is happening, but life is precious so robots are used instead. Designing of the system requires the knowledge of physical components, sensors, embedded system and decision algorithm. As we know humans cannot perform many task which a Robot can do. Robots are required where human interventions are nearly impossible. Due to this, a concept of designing a robot which can be controlled through Website emerged in our minds. Here controls of the robot are integrated on a webpage. The robot has been primarily built over Raspberry Pi which controls data transmission between the server and the robot, and controls the motion of the motors via motor controller L293D. This project comprises of basically three modules Raspberry Pi, a battery, L293D IC and a Pi camera which handles all basic functionalities of a Robot. Raspberry pi serve the purpose of server as well as the microprocessor for the system. Video is captured through the webcam placed on the robotic unit and lively transmitted to the remote end. | en_US |
