Before it will run successfully, you must install the following software. If you do not have Quicktime 5.0 or higher installed, you will be prompted to do so. After this installation, you may be required to restart your computer. Once this is done, simply launch Multimedia Fluid Mechanics again, and you will pass through the Quicktime checker. After this check, the program also checks for the Java Runtime Environment, or JRE. You will need the Java Runtime Environment 1.1.8 (JRE) in order to run the java applications contained in Multimedia Fluid Mechanics. The JRE must be installed in C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.1\ in order to function correctly. This is the default location used by the installer, so a simple click on 'install' is all that is needed.
