dc.description.abstract As we know Oil spills are Hazardous to Human as well as Aquatic life. Hence, In this project, we have designed and developed a device which can successfully separate water and oil in sea. Considering all the factors including wind, wave resistance, viscosity of oil, the calculations are done. And as per calculations, using Autodesk Inventor software, designs are made. Here, we had used a Grooved drum which increases our device efficiency by approx. 200%. Two motors connected to propellers are used to drive the device. A simple cut & split mechanism is used to separate oil from water. An attachment is provided to remove the oil from the tank. This device is wirelessly remote controlled and has a range of 50m-60m. In this Project, the power supply is provided through Rechargeable battery. Finally, all the parts were fabricated and tested and assembled and testing was done for successful completion of project. en_US
