dc.description.abstract Amid the health and social crises of the 21st century, drug addiction stands forth as one of the most catastrophic habits globally. It affects every country, although its scope and features vary. It's a major epidemic in Punjab, especially among the youth. “You don’t get over an addiction by stopping using. You recover by creating a new life where it is easier to not use. If you don’t create a new life, then all the factors that brought you to your addiction will catch up with you again.” (Gluck, 2013) The research focuses on strategies and solutions to help the addicts to overcome their addictions through therapeutic architecture and how it can enhance the process of physical and mental healing. This study forms the basis for designing a strategy about architectural involvement in restoring and relieving their mind and soul. en_US
